I love a good Sunday brunch, and even better if alcohol is involved (just as long as I can have a nap afterwards!). Fortunately, Sunday brunch happens in a huge way in Mumbai. There are so many top restaurants that offer delicious all you can eat and drink Sunday brunch buffets.
Today we went to Vie Deck & Lounge. It’s located down a small lane, right on Juhu Beach.

This place is spectacular, with a stunning panoramic view of the beach.

Unfortunately, it was too hot to sit outside for most of the time. We picked a table right by the window though, and wasted no time piling our plates with Mediterranean style food.
Then came the cocktails! The cocktail menu was loaded with exotic choices, although they were all pretty pricey at between 350-500 rupees each.

While we dined, we were serenaded by and old rocker from Goa.
A live musician entertained diners.
It was the most relaxing and enjoyable afternoon that I’d had in a long time. In such a crowded, dirty, hectic city as Mumbai, I find it’s really important to do things like this from time to time. It helps me feel normal and stay sane!
Ahhh... so relaxed!
Vie is a versatile venue. It’s also open for dinner and dancing in the night.
You can find Vie Deck & Lounge at 102 Juhu Tara Road. Brunch with alcohol costs 1,000 rupees with a beer/1,200 rupees with unlimited beer/1,600 rupees with unlimited wine.
