Post image for I’m in Love: No Nasties Moustache T-Shirt

Thank you No Nasties for enabling me to take my moustache fetish to the next level.

And thank you also to Bronwyn, who blogs at Little Bird Bombay, for alerting me to this fantastic online store (even if she somehow overlooked telling me about the t-shirt).

I highly recommend that you get a mooch t-shirt, for guys and for girls. Everything from No Nasties is 100% organic and 100% fair trade. Not only will you be helping to support farming in India, you’ll be helping the planet too. No genetically modified seeds, no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, no carcinogens, no high interest loans, no child labour, no price exploitation, no suicides! And, the t-shirts fit GREAT!

In the words of the Big B, “Mooche ho toh Nathulal jaise ho!”

Oh wait, I think something is missing from the above picture!

I know, my inferior mooch really can't compete, but I had to try!

...and again!

(Yeah, you know me, I just couldn’t resist).

Sharell:
You are hilarious! I love the shirt and you wearing a mooch, also. What does your hubby think of all of this? Did he take the pictures? :)

Hehe, yes, he did take the pictures. He says it’s a little weird, not normal at all, but he likes it… in a different way. ;-) Then he jokingly said it makes him want to grow one.

Hi Sharell Dada! or is it… Sharell Bhai (the Mumbai Don types!) :)

Reply

Chidiya February 28, 2012 at 12:46 pm

The shirt looks really nice. I like their Mumbai and Goa shirts too.

Are there different Hindi words to describe different kinds of mustaches? The only word I know is “mishi” (Marathi), which apparently means only ‘small mustache’. haha.

Love those photos of you with the moustache. Now, if we can find a turban so that you can look like the guy on the shirt…

It just crossed my mind seeing your pics. Ever thought of trying your hand in Bollywood? You are surely going to throw a certain Katrina Kaif out of business.

Reply

Sharell शारेल March 7, 2012 at 10:01 am

Actually, I’m rather too self-conscious and sensitive to survive in Bollywood. The thought of fame doesn’t inspire me at all. Plus, I can’t sing (tone deaf) and am quite uncoordinated. ;-)

Reply

ASG March 9, 2012 at 3:54 pm

You don’t need to know how to sing or dance or for that matter know how to speak hindi. Look at Katrina, she did just fine. If ever India ceases to fascinate you, Bollywood would be an excellent career option for you. Just kidding.

This is hilarious. I’m a white Indian housewife, too (except we don’t live in India, we’ve been in Spain and moving to Dubai next month). We must compare wedding experience notes, lol.

My father is a part time magician. There wasn’t much hope for me to be serious. ;-)

I am totally obsessed with moustaches too – long story. Either way, I’m totally getting this for myself, you might want to take a look. It might be a little too refined for your tastes though. Not much of a handlebar to speak of.
